We dealt with what we had and there was no need for anything different in 2002. Though just because it's always been done that way doesn't mean it always should.

Just had a thought.

The club could use the Coop Live webcam as it will give a great view of the North stand expansion. The webcam does need moving over to the left more. It’s currently positioned mainly overlooking the Coop Live Arena.I’ve enlarged the webcam screengrab to the left, so it shows more of the North stand.

The Everton and Anfield builds have loads of coverage/weekly updates on Youtube from people with drones. Hopefully we'll see plenty of updates on the North Stand in that way.

No, mate.

It took 10 years to build Metrolink to the Etihad. Parts of HS2, including the Manchester leg have been paused for 2 years to try and save money. There’s absolutely no chance ever of a monorail happening.

Maybe something similar could be constructed in time for the North stand expansion opening?

Just looking at the Madrid stadium! Now that’s is the way to go, City definitely need to look at wrapping the stadium in Led screens and a roof would be brilliant.

The wrap should be done mate but I’m sure you aren’t allowed a roof in the premier league?

Yeah it is ridiculous mate as fan experience would be greatly improved with a closed roof when the weather is shite!

Fantastic proposal.

Sadly I doubt Chelsea will go with that proposal now. I’m sure Boehly has other plans for a redeveloped Stamford Bridge. That aside, the construction costs now for that proposal would be astronomical.

I stand corrected it’s only a partial roof mate which covers the stands, but it seems daft in this country that no stadium does given our weather! Why would Madrid need one they have fantastic weather!

I’m sure it’s there and not a stand alone for very good reason, including access to the stadium and facilities.

The hotel is to be linked to the new development especially to what looks like a sky walk at the top of the new stand !
