It’s going to get colder tonight onwards. But clear and sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday. The rest of the week is rain and sleet.

Right!

If the lift doesn’t start today, I’ll go down on Tuesday and Wednesday for a few hours each day as I’m off work all week.

If CP Overview and SS Skies PM their mobile numbers, I’ll ring you both if I see the lift starting. That’s the least I can do to make up for today.

Quite a few more stood around it now so might be happening yet.

That's why I was trying to hint, without risking CP missing it, that things might not happen for the first couple hours. Been to a few '6.30 starts' where things don't really kick in till the back of 8, it is sometimes more to get everyone focused and prepped. Particularly in the winter pre daylight.

But then I also didn't of want to be the one that risks CP rocking up at 9am and the thing being a third of the way up in the air!

Think today is a sensible day and looks like they are prepping for it. All depends on how they think they can restrain it in the air if they can't connect it all in the time they have. I guess.

That's admirable of you, but I honestly wouldn't beat yourself up over it.

Even without you speaking to the guy, based on the photos and latest drone footage, today would have seemed an obvious bet and guess. Based on the crane being prepped, strapped and the weather etc.

well I’m in Western Australia atm and got a pub full of people waiting for this, got it cast on the big screen and holding off pressure to show AFL. Sort it out @jrb!

Millwall, Leeds and Cardiff is understandable. I’ve never been to Swansea. Been to West Ham, the Olympic stadium, but our coach dropped us off away from the ground. Fulham, Chelsea, Spurs are a joke. Walking through 1000’s of home fans, down street after street, to eventually find the away coaches. The away fans don’t realise how lucky they are to have a fenced off coach park right outside the away end at the Etihad.

Last couple of seasons after numerous changes over the years at West Ham straight down steps into coach compound.
I forgot (too much drink) to mention Birmingham City and Coventry City(although we are yet to play there yet).
Can’t be bothered revising Div 1 and 2. You can get back to the big build and I’ll complete getting back from yesterday’s game.Cheers.

Really don’t worry about it, it’s not the first time I have sat hoping for something to happen and certainly won’t be the last.
Will pm you my number though.
 
Apart from the lift, they need to fix it in place right away, maybe they have to go to Screwfix or Wickes for the right sized nuts and bolts.

Seriously, my guess is that the fixing will take a day or more, and the weather forecast doesn’t look good. Maybe that is the cause of any delay.
