North Stand Construction Discussion

The opening should feature a picture of Khaldoon and Pep on top of the roof ring of the sky-walk above the stand.
It will be officially opened by Kun & Daveed as 'The 93.20 Stand'.

The plans/arrangements for the occasional/match are fantastic !!

It got a bit tense with the nuts and bolts action around the battery change time, but we needn't have worried. After a swift re-powering of the drone, it was back to the nuts and bolts bodge job.

Great videos, always look forward to you update, especially as it will seem like a big change when we see the progress live before the Spurs game.

The should present Rodders his Ballon D'Or high up in those cherry pickers just as the final bolt goes in.
Rodders is going to be doing flying circuits of the stadium singing " who the fuck is vini junior " before doing a 30 metre knee slide in front of the Colin Bell stand.

Guess the next interestung bit of action to look out for when the skybar is fully built, would be when they position the cherry pickers on top of the two towers to build the quadpod supports.

Do you know how many levels of food/ beer outlets there will be.
I'm guessing the original on level one plus 3 more levels for the new stand before the hotel, sky bar etc.
If yes that's 4 in total compared to the the South Stand with 3, one for each tier.No doubt that's where corporate comes into it?

I assumed these would be built on the ground and fitted as one piece , then the cherry picker used to transfer the cables ?? Or even a cradle on the end of the tower crane jib , whatever but I’m glad I’m not doing it !!
Yeah I assume it will be a combination of crane in place and then join/check from a mewp on the tower.

Think the point is more that it is so high up that it can't be reached from any cradle off the ground.
