We’re delighted to announce that Titan Interior Solutions has secured the ceilings and partitions package for the 400-bed hotel at the new Etihad Stadium development for our valued client, John Sisk & Son Ltd

With work already underway since Monday, our team will play a key role in this landmark project, which is set to enhance the fan experience with state-of-the-art facilities, including a 3,000-capacity fan zone, a new club shop, and a museum.

….and the blocks suggested for the away fans don’t have enough seats! Would need to give them nearly half of EL1, never gonna happen even if it was a good idea (which it patently isn’t!).

I get that one was a joke, and a good one at that. But on the point more generally. Thousands of people have opinions on thousands of buildigns, almost every single day. It is quite a normal thing. Millions, maybe. Nothing really wrong with it.

do we think the party walls between rooms and also corridors will be insulated ( possibly double boarded ) metal stud partitions ? Not sure on specification on hotel construction

Many of the initial opinions about the design of the North stand exterior weren’t positive.

I was accused of liking it just because I am a City fan.

Architecture is very subjective.

Piece of piss to get to. Numerous railway and Tube stations to use from all directions.

The first piece of the new roof support (quadpod) is in place on the west tower. Looks like it’s being done today. @cpoverview @ssskies

The second viewing platform is in place on the adjacent tower.

Lots more terracing on the east side.
