North Stand Construction Discussion

Just looking at how nice the paving is around Everton's new stadium.

Really hope that, at a minimum, the new City Square is done to a high standard along with the path leading up to it down Joe Mercer Way. The latter would look great especially at night with blue lights on the ground down both sides.

Get the pikeys Irish lads in. They'll do an excellent job, and at a good price. You'll have no weeds coming up through their tarmac. It'll be like a pool table when they're finished.

;-)

Tarmac isn't cheap. ;-)

Joe Mercer Way will have to be resurfaced.
There are cracks all over it.
Once it's done I can see City sticking with the new tarmac.
Painting Joe Mercer Way and the the Old City Square didn't work

Who would be a crane driver? You climb fifty metres or more to the cab, sit still all day with no company apart from radio, have to be precise with the lifts and after a shift climb down steps to find the site is empty and the rest of the guys are in the pub. Respect!

did you see the guy who climbed out of his cab and clambered all the way out to the end of his crane jib last week, high above the stadium - total respect all round!

A mate did that job on the top tier at St James' Park. Some people aren't like anyone else you ever meet!

Moot point and just to be pedantic ! Can you call the man who operates a tower crane a driver ? Not like it goes anywhere is it , but agreed total respect for the guys ;-)
