I thought that's what I'd described...the two huge frames at either end of the construction.....as explained by Sisk on Wednesday.

Its looking very impressive isn't it, and credit to the actual workers who must have nerves of steel working so high up ... do you think they ever suffer with the odd bout of vertigo?
Happolds do seem to really like their robust connections, there has been a theme of it all along here. On the tower, the transfers, corners, skybar etc. You can see there how beefy the ends of the beam connections are, and then the cross beam between them all is a hell of a depth too.
The cables when attached at roughly that junction will do their bit as well, but from what's on site it looks like the eyelets are on the 2/3rd section, so yeah appears it just comes down to the connection for that final third. So far at least, as far as visible at this point.

Posted before reading your following messages. I'm not sure people are getting the point you are making.
I agree, it (so far) looks like the end bits really will be just down to the connection. And although light as you point out, are still some length, and do support that segment of the rooftop walkway and viewing platform on the edge.
The fact they have built a gantry for mewps on top of the existing roof directly below exactly those points, suggests they are expecting a lot of work on the connections. Possibly even welding. Maybe.
I wonder if the 1/3rd beams will have their own eyelet that 'interlocks' over those ones and then pivots down to meet the flat where it connects. Then the cable effectively hooks both. Possibly too far from the edge for that. One to watch.

Looking back at images of the south stand it appears the same ie.the front extension pieces are bolted/ welded and the roof is a lightweight “see thru”construction

There are bolt holes on the top face as well as the end. I’ll bet it’s quite a hefty connection plate on both beams.

Nothing radical that's not already in the public domain,but interesting and enjoyable.
Part of it is directed at school parties for advice on careers in the construction industry.

Hinged as well as bolted. But nothing to back that at all, just a thought.
From tailspin's spot, it Will be at least partly top interlocked/hinged just maybe involving the eyelet.

The other Blue Moon forum members who were at the event this morning will confirm this.
Sisk asked everyone who was at the Open Doors event not to post any pictures and videos of the stand on social media, including fan forums. The pictures and videos taken from the viewing platform are NDA'd.
I wrote the questions on a piece paper that people on here and on SSC-MCR wanted me to ask Sisk. I've left the questions with Sisk. Sisk have promised to get back to me about the questions via email.
I've done a construction picture roundup which I'll post later today.

The event?
It was very informative. Carl from Sisk who hosted most of the event went into quite a lot of detail about how Sisk work as a construction company, and how they have constructed the stand so far, and what it has involved.
The Q&A session was very good. I've left the questions with Carl.
As for the views of the stand from the viewing platform, they were great.
It's just a shame the pictures can't be posted.
Yes.
Oh they've seen those alright.
Their main concerns are around security and people having access to detailed information about the build. Some of the concerns from the Club as well who are of course their client.
Of course a lot of that is available in the published planning application but you have to know where to look for those.Thought the event overall was great though.

Not churlish.
Photos CAN be taken but NOT circulated on public media. Would you allow just anyone to take a photo of your property and ping it on to social media....no me neither.
The club has to consider terrorism risk,vandalism, sponsorship agreements, NDAs etc along with Sisks own requirements.
The presentation was as open as you'd expect, with an external viewing platform giving good views into the construction site.
