First attempt at a vlog of the north stand test event.

Really good to see all the photos and read the impressions (across both threads), thanks all for taking the time to share.

The first anyone gets to see of the inside spaces, and the concourses are a lot more finished than I expected, thought it would be basic with only toilet and stair/lift access for this one.

Been a long thread and road, great seeing it come together in the stand.

A few captured the famous anchor clamp, the vertical rods at the cable tie nodes, the wave pattern of the sails and lots of other details that have made some great discussion points previously.

A good feel thread is just what is needed this week!

Still a bit to go beyond the stand, looking forward to more.

I went and I was very impressed. SS Skies vlog is a great summary.

I would like to see how the concourses / bars etc cope with a full stand, and I look forward to Sunday to see what noise the stadium generates.

One thing I was really happy about is that the stand really does give off that big single tier feel when you’re in there. When you’re near the top you can barely even make out where it finishes up at the front. Those extra blocks at each side help make it feel like a huge blue wave as well where you’re just completely surrounded by other fans.

Possibly, I was wondering why those 2 red oxide pieces were included in the “ maintenance “ bridge at the vey back of the roof ? Are they sacrificial or will they be replaced with prepainted grey pieces ??

Amazing stand and concourses.

Unfortunately loads of snagging issues. Understandable?

Loads of pictures.

They didn't bother snagging as they knew you were coming and would provide a list.

The concourse areas of the newly developed stand reminds me of Wembley.

I’m thinking of moving over to the new stand as I’ve got an absolute bell end who sits right in front of me. He’s a real pretentious prick. I think his name is Mike. I never speak to him, but hear all his ‘mates’ calling him names when he leaves his seat.

I'm buzzing about the new stand, now I've seen what's on offer in the videos and images. Me and my son have been in SSL1 for the last 11 years. We were initially 3 rows from the front and I liked it, but found ourselves on the front row when they put the electronic hoardings in. We've ummed and arred whilst watching the progress of the North Stand. Ive always liked the idea but the rail seating won over my son, so we're off to 240 next season. We'll see how it goes, We'll miss the South stand, but no more getting piss wet through and a change of parking means we're coming in from the North end so it makes sense.
