North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

People will no doubt scoff.

1894 have given the 1894 member survey feedback and data to the club. No other fan group has done that.

And before people say, 1894 is only singers, so the feedback and data is predictable, 1894 has a varied fan base and following of sexes and ages.

Is it a perfect cross section of City’s support? Probably not, being honest. But in City fan survey terms, it isn’t far off, and it gives the club a good and realistic idea of what a wide cross section of City’s fan base would like to see incorporated into the new North stand.

Not only that but I think the survey was posted on here as well wasn't it? So other City fans not in any way affiliated to 1894 got to hear about it and had the opportunity to fill it in

I’m not sure. Manchester33 will know.

What’s important to remember is, the survey was transparent, and was open to all 1894 members, regardless of what they wanted for the new North stand. There weren’t any NDA’s attached to the survey either. :-)

That's a terrible take Dave. To call 1894 idiots for not blindly walking into something is poor.

We absolutely need to know pricing. We need to know how many SCs there will be. We need commitments on the number of rail seats and when they'll go in (saying 3k and maybe more if we feel like it isn't a commitment).

The onus is on City to facilitate an atmospheric North Stand (if they want one). Not on a group of fans who volunteer their free time (and have had tons of recommendations on how to make this a truly special stand ignored).
He’s not called Dave lol. It’s Paul. And he’s not from Didsbury.

Let’s see how “Didsbury Dave” gets on with his wealth of ideas. Feel free to ring/mail the club and see how you get on mate, do keep us all posted

The key to the success of this is offering big incentives for people to relocate from the existing signing areas. Half price for the first season and that does the job.
Hmm yes City with their track record are bound to do that aren’t they.

And you call others a fucking idiot

You are literally attacking the one group trying to stand up for fans on prices

Don’t break kayfabe by using real names. You didn’t see Ultimate Warrior calling Hulk Hogan ‘Terry’ before their match at Wrestlemania VI.

The survey was posted to our members, social media accounts (70k audience) and on here.

We received thousands of responses. We even forwarded a document containing every respondent's comments to the club.

We encouraged the club and OSC to do their own surveys.

I can't post the document we produced here as it's a pdf. If anyone knows a way around this I'd be happy to share. We sent an email with the results to our members.

The atmosphere isn’t shit, it’s been in the top four or five grounds in the country since Covid (there are shit games, of course). In 2022-23 we had the best atmosphere around.

It’s that we want to have an even better atmosphere and be consistently good.

NSL2 is designed as an atmosphere stand. In every other stadium in Europe it would be a dedicated atmosphere stand. The whole of the rest of the ground has small tiers and everyone separated into small chunks - ideal for tourists, quiet fans, hospitality and corporate… there’s one tier that could be something really special and iconic, something that’s substantial enough to want to be part of and be proud to be part of, and having a mish-mash of everything meaning it’s all a bit of nothing in particular isn’t what this tier needs.
Fans have to prove the demand will be more than 3000
