You can’t anymore but how does that impact residents - that was my pointthought you can't park around the ie/cemetery??
we used to park there before covid
It tends to push the fans to park on the housing estates. These are the looney bastads who run the place. You can’t anymore but how does that impact residents - that was my point
They have to deal with Trafford Council, we get the anti-motorist bastards at Manchester City Council.Quite right.
The combined capacities of the Etihad and Co-Op Live will be 85,500 from next year. Yet there is one Metrolink stop servicing one line (<Town:Ashton>), a handful of buses and banned parking within a certain radius of the stadium with no Park+Ride alternative options out in place. And then there’s nothing else. Your legs are your only other option to get anywhere.
Over in Trafford Park, United’s capacity is 74,000 yet they have 5 Metrolink stops close by connected to 5 of the different Metrolink directions (Town, Airport/EDids, Alty, TraffCent and MediaC/Eccles), a railway station, more bus routes, larger road network, water taxis on the canal in either direction from Sale and Town and even a ‘River Cruise’ from Town.

Reminder to everyone of Sheikh Mansours introductory letter to all City fans, Khaldoons regular missives along with Pep & the players sentiments. The club might get a shock when it comes to selling seats in the expanded NS2 if we continue our stuttering form for a season or two. Fans will want the discount that comes with having a regular ST and attending all the home games, and tourists might well choose other venues. Obviously we'll still be attractive to some due to the records we've smashed over the past few years.
The club really needs to go public on their plans for season tickets especially if they want the new stand to be the main source of atmosphere. They have absolutely no chance of achieving that if there are different people in those seats every game.
They also need to go public about pricing, but that won't happen as they seem wedded to maximising revenue at every opportunity.
You can't park there. The restriction is deliberate at parking allowed for 90 minutes. I see parking tickets on cars every week as some do not read the signs. They also ticket disabled motorists if they haven't set their clocks right to cover the period parked. It's a money making racket by the council. There is absolutely no need to restrict parking in an area where there are no houses and at match times all other businesses are closed.thought you can't park around the ie/cemetery??
