Had the misfortune to listen to GMR this afternoon, as all my streams were foreign.

Is this guy always so negative? He harped on and on about Dzeko's third goal, claiming it was offside and that the linesman was crap. Now I've seen it and it was definitely NOT offside, but there'll be no sign of an apology from him when he sees it again.

Fred Eyre....tosser...

Not a tosser at all,he's a blue.

However,i reckon he's past his sell by....... he's so monotone and depressing, not a presenter who actively attracts the listner.

Are you sure you're not talking about Nigel Gleghorn ? The pair of 'em would be great on here...only happy when there's something to whine about ;.)

He is, sorry...a blue? Do me a favour..who needs enemies...

ten men, we only had ten men

and well done again to our top scorer this season (that's Edin btw for all the naysayers)

Yaya was so lazy until Nasri got sent off. He then showed us what a great player he is.

Just let's pick the tempo up and we will give those rag bastards a run for their money!

Certainly didn't sound like a blue today. I got the impression he was distinctly disappointed that we won.

He always sounds a bit miserable, that's just his manner, I suppose you either like that or not. I didn't hear him today but I refuse to believe he would be disappointed that City won and yes, he can be critical if he sees something that he feels deserves criticising, I don't think that makes him sound less of a blue. The reason I like him is that he says what he thinks and isn't a sycophant. He thought a goal was offside and it wasn't, quite frankly, so fucking what?

If Dzeko's third goal is an own goal - how about attributing two out of three Norwich goals to: Clichy (1st), Hart (3rd)?

Just watched the replay again - calling that an own goal is RIDICULOUS.
Why?

it wouldn't have gone in if it didn't hit the keeper, it would have bounced back into play.

They give those as ogs now unless it's Dick van Miffy or Rooney and then it's added to their tally!

True !
Although, I just read at Goal.com & Guardian that he is allowed to "(...) claim a hat-trick after his shot found its way into the net via Mark Bunn, and rightly so (...)"
That's interesting !

Well if he wasn't sure, fair enough, mention it and move on, make a decision once you've seen a replay.

As it was, immediately after the goal, he said Dzeko was "3, 4, 5 yards offside" also said "what is this linesman playing at" and then on 3 occasions later said how we'd be "thankful to this poor linesman" if "WE" won.

We get enough short ends of sticks from Sky and their ilk, without getting it from someone who is allegedly one of our own.

Anyone know where the ref found 7 mins injury time from - only 5 signalled?!!
Bringing Garcia on did not take 2 minutes.

I think there deserved to be 7 minutes to be honest, If the show was on the other foot we'd say the same.
