In the scheme of things, i'm taking that point.

Too right,, a lot of points to play for and not the end of the world....

This is true, but when and where are Chelsea going to drop points? Since we can't put the teams away that we should we find ourselves relying on others yet again.

Haven't read it all but the team lacked something as silva was well marked and pff the boil.

Thats when pellers needs to earn his money - and today like other games when he needs to do something he gets it wrong.

With Silva off Jovetic was the man with Navas looking to create but he took hime off. When playing against a team that had hardly got out of their own half for 30 minutes why take a striker off and leave one up front. He needed to at least do something to push Yaya further forward.

I said the Jan window would cost us the title on another thread - The ferdy injury will cost us big time, they had a month to sort better cover and missed the boat.

Same old February.

Poor result and leaves us with a lot to do with the games we have compared to the games Chelsea have.

Looking over our shoulders soon if this doesn't pick up.

Very poor week.

Clamour for Milner, does nothing. Silva off form and the forwards are nowhere near as good without Aguero to keep defenders occupied.

Unless he and Fernandinho come back soon expect more of the same.

Hardly anybody had Pool down to absolutely spank the Arse today.

not having that, that was a spanking coming from a mile off - Liverpool are big scorers this year, loads of goals from all over the park.

Nailed on second for me.
I said specifically against the Arse. Tell the bookies next time oh wise one, because they didn't know.

Firstly, I think we have to have the humility to congratulate Norwich on a phenomenal rearguard action.

Secondly, I think one or two posters are victims of media-generated hysteria. It's true that at times we have been light years the best team in the country but very few teams have maintained that standard for a whole season. To do so whilst embedding a new manager, a new playing style and 3 new first team players was always asking a lot. Without being pessimistic, I, for one, expected us to hit a brick wall at some point and we have. All we can do is fight our way through it both as a team and as fans. That's the mark of champions and, if we don't , we don't deserve to be champions so we've lost nothing. All that "it's City's to throw away" guff was just bullshit thrown our way in the hope of sucking the more hysterical amongst us in. It appears that it has.

Your first point is bang on. Nobody here has even had the decency to say well played to the opposition. Maybe we should look more at the quality of the Norwich performance rather than being so quick to criticise our team

We were total gash, then? I don't know what the fuck gets into the heads of our players in games like this. There is no explaining it. Aguero and Fernand back before we implode.

Fuck, I say.

Let's get a grip and just be thankful we didn't see our own net bulging at the end on the wrong end of a one nil like we did at Sunderland whenever it was. We didn't lose - we got a point on one of those blustery horrible days when things can go horribly horribly wrong for Man City.

The title will ebb and flow and is not decided today for Gawds sake, nor would it have been if we'd won 6 -0. So cheer up, be happy with a valuable point and we'll win the next three matches.

Attitude and preparation were wrong/not good enough.

Don't be misled. That wasn't a game where we've gone there, battered them and they've defended brilliantly and their keeper's had a blinder. That wasn't a brave, brilliant defensive performance from a poor Premier League team at home.

That was a piss poor, slow, casual performance from us.
We hardly tested them.
We wasted ALL of our set pieces. (Why does Navas take them ALL? Surely he should be on the half way line in case of a counter-attack - see Chelsea game).
Not one player in that team took the game by the balls and tried to actual make something happen. Apart from ONE burst from Milner around 70 mins in.

It was lazy and casual. That's not a good thing. We didn't have any option on the bench either which was what really cost us. We've seen City do this a few times over the past 3 seasons or so. West Brom away in 2011-12 sticks out the most.

It's horrible to watch. Wasn't just a case of missing Augero or Fernandinho. The problem is that others DIDN'T step up in their absence. They have done before so I can't understand why they didn't today. Toure - poor. Negredo - poor. Navas - poor.

Need to shake this off soon because we've been doing it for 2-3 years and it's why we're not top of the league tonight.

I was concerned about the weather. How bad was it?

Maybe they will have a spell where they get 3 or 4 injuries to their best players at the same time and other key players will lose form and look jaded..... it happens
