Norwich Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

I feel the we have a great owner and two spoilt brats, who seem to think they can make people jump too our tune like they did at Barca, they can't because we don't have that ultimate pulling power. We will likely have to pay over the odds for world class players (Hazard was immense on Monday)for a while longe, but if paying £85 million for Bale isn't over the odds then what is.
At full strength we are awesome, 3 injuries and we are very mortal, that isn't really Pellers fault, just as it wasn't Bobbys.
Someone posted that Barca work on the basis of having 17 top draw players really top quality and everyone else is a youth player therefore, in theory hungry and determined to usurp the established player. That I believe is what we are hopefully heading too, as long as the people in charge,have a reality check on our position to negotiate, when dealing with some major targets. Its not over, we need to show some balls.

The squad is paper thin? Get a grip....yeah yeah we'd all like a squad of £25m+ players, not gonna happen, never will as you can't keep everyone happy. We still have the best squad by miles in terms of strength in depth. Today's starting 11 were so superior in terms of ability than Norwich's. It's how you approach the game and the mentality and desire of the players that matters. Today for whatever reason (again against an organised lower table side) we didn't turn up and play like we should have been able to.
 
That's what I was afraid of. Our incredible run comes to an end and it knocked the confidence of the team. Shite result.
 
Sorry folks over reacted earlier on. Were all mardy arses now and again. I find it hard to hide my disappointment.

Best squad by miles ?

Chelsea had this bench today

Cole, Ramires, schurrle, Ba, Mikel, Salah, schwartzer

They also had Torres and Terry out injured.

We had Richards, Rodwell, Lopes, Kolorov, Dzeko, Lescott and Pantillimon.

I'm not sure currently we do. It's on a par with Chelsea.

We have Aguero, Nasri, Garcia and Fernandinho out.

We are great when full strength but when Aguero and Fernandinho are out we are lacking bite and quality.

Would anyone trust Richards and Rodwell to come in and do a job?
 
We went 18 games unbeaten and every thing was rosy, now things are not quite right so well so we might as well kiss the season goodbye.anyone got a barca ticket for sale

Thats a popular misconception that many blues have, you need to turn it around....

City stroll into these away games against lower opposition thinking they can bowl them over or blow them away with skill alone...no intensity, no desire, no aggression = no win
