I paid £350 for TS but that was in an executive lounge with 4 course meal and free bar with seats on halfway line. £350 for a spot on a field seems a bit toppy!

It was classed as 'VIP' which I think gave her a programme, a badge and access to some closer by toilets.......... :-)

Definitely the bands responsibility, they have control of how tickets are priced. They need calling out for it, but they clearly dont give a shit for their fans as long as they are rolling in the cash.

Oasis Noel and Liam should be ashamed knowing where they have come from and should know better. They are selling out to the business and milking the public and their fans.

Ticketmaster as taking the piss a bit because they offer the dynamic pricing service in the first place to their clients.

No idea though whether the band had anything to do with it or it was down to the promoters.

Who benefits most?

It's a cash cow and everyone involved will milk it until it's dry. Expect more dates at original pricing with 'credit' being given to the band for 'making a stand on behalf of fans'.

Credibility restored, fans happy, more money in the bank for TM and the band.

The Gallaghers certainly aren't going to complain about getting more money.

In the meantime, the (reported) £400m+ sits happily in high interest accounts making even more money for TM and the band.

Interesting people coming out saying don't blame the band it was ticketmaster and ticketmaster saying bands have option to deny surge pricing.
