If I sign up to it and you send me my ticket do I still get to sit with my mates/wife at away games?

Oh erm that's a good question we hadn't thought of that !
shirly you could just upgrade the ticket you already sit in

every1 should go gold and not platinum its a joke.season ticket is a season ticket paying 50 quid for extra loyalty points is just wrong

Well its Started as we all knew it would.
Yes i know we've just won the FA Cup and have a large wage bill to pay.

But the loyalty point scheme which is the envy of alot of fans from other clubs. is being sold off.
You EARNT loyalty points by supporting city (10 points Charlton away on a tuesday night which on telly for example) NOT by BUYING them.

Put the prices up by all means we have bills to pay. But don't devalue the points system and price out the fans that have have kept the club going through the dark years.

wtf? why should a new membership member have to pay more than a current one?

fuck off City, fuck off.

Maybe rewarding the ones who have been season ticket holders for many years?

Just take as some sort of price cut for the people who have ST's this season.

You getting a season ticket, btw?

I was a season ticket holder and have probably paid more in individual tickets than a lot of season card holders have paid for their cards this season.

I'll get one as long as the price doesn't go up stupidly, the highest ticket price at the

moment for me would be about £410 if I keep away from Level 2, but if they're gonna dump it to over £500 or summit then no.

Renewal prices are usually cheaper than new joining members. Last season my ticket in the south stand was £405 my mate and her son was on the waiting list and got season tickets at the start of the season, they had to pay another 10% on top of the price. Her ticket was £445 and her sons was £154 instead of £140 for renewals. Although this is quite a jump, for a gold membership next season will cost her £445 of £495 for platinum. So it isn't much different to what she paid last season. You will pay more this season as a new member than the quoted prices but hopefully you will feel the benefit the season after when you are offered the renewal prices.

the big question is ... will the loyalty scheme be scrapped after next season, (as if a certain number of away tickets are guaranteed to superbia members, that makes it even less possible for younger supporters to get the big away game tickets), and we move to a ballot system like every other 'big' club. as if so, there really is no point going platinum.

my personal feeling is that the platinum scheme is basically a way of raising prices quietly, as if they scrap the points, the renewal prices for 2012/2013 will go on from where they are now.

not read it all and not had the package yet but this £50 per ticket upgrade, is it a one off thing or £50 increase every year for more points

I'm still debating to go Gold or Platinum.
It doesn't make a whole lot of difference to me to be 'buying' those extra loyalty points, because I don't *need* them for away games, since I don't go away any more.
(And before all you 12 year olds start shouting, I did every home and away game for feckin years...the SHIT years).

My season ticket has effectively gone up by £200 in two seasons otherwise. That's not 6% or 6% year on year.

2009-10 North Stand price: £380
2010-11 - evicted to Colin Bell Stand - £450 with a gracious £50 off for the eviction discount
2011-12 - £580

BIG increase when I have no income to speak of. No help for mature students.

the way it's structured platinum will be £50 (or whatever) morer than gold every season.
