In Spain they are saying that the Eto'o transfer is very similar to the Ronaldinho saga. City have offered the most money but Inter Milan and United can offer CL football.

the spaniards don't half talk bollocks though. They're almost as bad as the Italians.

I trust them a lot more than the scummy British press.

Yesterday it came out that United won't sign anyone over the age of 26 anymore. Eto'o is 28. MATHS!

I accept 2008/9 was a great season for him and in a brilliant team but at the back of my mind I believe he missed most of 2007/8 season with a cruciate is all I'm saying.

Yep he was utter dross. Only scored 16 times in 18 matches. Surpised they never sold him then

Eto'o himself said after the CL final when questionned about his future by a news reporter that "the only team that can afford me is Man City" so read into that what you will. Money is an important factor in his decision which puts utd out of it.
