I think a marquee signing will come Jan or next Summer,
I think Yaya may end up going eventually. He will need to be replaced,

Would be nice to get another marquee next season. The last big player we got was aguero and that was a while ago now. A top name/player is needed every 2/3 years to really improve a position and the squad.

If that is the case how come we came second 2 seasons ago and won the next season without so called marque signings?

All I am saying is that it would be nice to sign a marquee player like Sanchez

Agree with the principle but cannot see Sanchez as a "marque signing" because:-
1. He only cost £30million for a 25 year old
2. He will be paid 'only' £100k per week; way below the top players and,
3. Barcelona appear very willing to let him go

In my opinion, not in the same league as Aguero/ YaYa etc. four years ago.

Why would Roma want to lose Ljajic and pay money? I thought he was a very promising young player?

Ljajic is 22 whilst Valbuena is 30 in September.

This should, in theory, weaken Liverpool by a considerable margin.

That said, I believe the dippers win ratio was better during the time he had a significant absence last term. Their points ratio was, believe it or not, better when he was out of action.

According to the news yesterday they have to unveil him somewhere else as hes not allowed near a football stadium..

All part of his punishment...
