If we knew what the 'what do you think of that' part is all about then maybe... I imagine most refs booked Bellamy last year didn't they?
I agree, maybe not the wisest thing to allow yourself to be overheard, but it's the sort of conversation I think would be repeated at every ground.
Not really proof of the conspiracy everyone is so keen on though.

Is it? Look at our response when he questioned Wileys fitness - disgraceful. Unacceptable. When are the FA going to do something about it.
I'd rather have my fitness questioned than my integrity as a ref.

I can only give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you haven't read the thread bout what Hughes heard them saying...if you have, are you actually suggestin that he is disgraceful for questioning their integrity..?

I have read the thread. What I am saying is that if Ferguson made the same comments this place would be going ballistic.
And from a personal point of view, if Hughes has a concern about Clattenburgs integrity he should report him to the FA, not make snidey comments in the press that will achieve nothing but detract attention from another shit result.

I've gotta disagree with you. Fergie WOULD get lambasted but only because he is a disgrace in that his way of accepting defeat is to blame the referee who 9 times out of 10 has had an average match. The Wiley case in particular was a personal attack on a referee who was so obviously innocent that Fergie came out and had to backtrack on what he had said.
In this case, Hughes is rightly questioning the referee AND his officials for making so many crucial mistakes. He is right to highlight Clattenburg and co's mistakes today unlike Ferguson who does it everytime they lose.
