Not sure he was better, but I thought Walker was poor too.and for me played far better than Walker on the other side.

Hmmmm... Like I said, I have to watch the game without the buffering. But I didn't think he was bad. Not particularly influential either.I thought he played very well considering part of the Lyon plan was to have 2 on 1 running against him. He looked exhausted by 60 mins though.
Technically very tidy and for me played far better than Walker on the other side.
This was dissapointed. I remember at least one of those instances.Zinchenko has all the potential to become a very good player but he lacks belief , a couple of occasions in the 2nd half he had the opportunity to run at Raggy Raphael and he took the safe option , he needs to take a risk and show his ability or he will fall by the wayside , its a make or break season for him.

Lots of guys played poorly. I think Lyon has our number. And I'm worried it has a lot to do with Auour and Ndombele. They both have an instead ability to turn away from our press and dribble to safety.
I struggled to understand where he was meant to be playing
He's done that role before though, so perhaps it was just Lyon's quality ?As did the player himself IMO.I'm pretty confident Pep's preparation would have been spot on,so i can only imagine the instruction went over Zinchenko's head.
He was 2 v 1. He was Frozen by the guy who attempted to control the ball but missed. The ball fell to the striker who got in a fantastic curler. And Zee was right there. The guy just put in a great shot.Played ok but should have been a lot closer to Cornet to try and stop the shot/ put a tackle in .
It was. How that is not obvious to @FantasyIreland baffles me.He's done that role before though, so perhaps it was just Lyon's quality ?
I was surprised he started, and even more that he remained on for the full 90, but once Delph came on, he did seem to settle down a bit.
Nor did Fernandihno offer him much helped.I thought he had one of his poorest games for us, gave the ball away more than he's done before, Lyon played well, but I struggled to understand where he was meant to be playing, and he didn't give Fernandhino much help.
That's just a ridiculous comment, he was busy dealing with three on his own (whilst being "below par" obviously, as you know better).Nor did Fernandihno offer him much helped.
