Anyone who saw Stones’ attempt at playing DM the last time should realise Zinchenko will play it better. We should only sell him if we wrap up a signing in Jan.

I thought he was fine tbh. Very very encouraging.
No pointless smartarseness, just loads of good solid play, enabling others to get on with the game. Which is all we need, in a team full of artists.
Zinchenko might be able to do it too, but it's once again asking him to do something he isn't designed for, in a team which we are constantly told, is too good & too important, for kids to be given opportunities, when he himself has hardly ever played his own position.
Hope you have his genes. :)

@Dax777 he’s starting for sure, he will start, a player doesn’t do a presser and not start as you kept telling everyone in the pre match thread... our resident expert was bang on again,, I’m surprised he didn’t even make bench though, that must hurt..

Hopefully starts v Fulham.
Would like to see how he performs in Fernandinho role but suspect he will replace Mendy.
