As much as I like the lad I don`t see him as a long term solution.Gives the ball away far too often for my liking and something a midfielder (his normal position) should not be doing.
I can honestly see us in for a top drawer left back next season, especially if Mendy continues with his disastrous injuries.

He's got 90.6% pass completion and makes the third most passes in the team. The only midfielders that have given the ball away less this season are Rodri and Fern (playing CB).

Doubt that he will be allowed to continue if " complacency " is a problem. Pep doesn't allow it- watch him as the game is taking place.
I noticed after his latest misplaced pass around the 70 minute mark he moved more into midfield for a time well out of Pep's way on the touchline

To be honest I think it was a a mix of a performance when he did some things well and some things not so well. Players can't always perform at 100 %.

Not sure that I accept the complacency aspect , but it's your opinion .

What he just moved into midfield and left the left back spot wide open to move further away from Pep, are you fucking serious?

I will refer you to the post further up that says he has a 90% pass completion and third best in the team, so all those misplaced passes can't be counting or you are doubling the number in your head after the game for whatever reason.

but he gives it away as LB, not worth comparing to De Bruyne or Silva.

It is in response to the post I was responding to.

But if you want to compare to other players, go do your homework before trying to point out the error of my post.

Zinchenko currently has the best pass completion of any full back in the league this season and is something like 12th best overall of players that have played a high number of minutes.

He moved away from the touchline and only moved back when Brighton came down that side. As soon as he would have been free to have his ear bent he came off the touchline again. Believe me if I had had my eardrums drilled by Pep at half time for a lackadaisical approach I would have kept out of his way after another blunder.

Christ, you really believe what you posted there
