He never was good enough. Everyone went completely over the top when he stepped in at LB for the title winning season. Anyone could have played at LB that season we were that fucking good in attack. He is crap defending, slow and offers nothing going forward except shit chipped in crosses that our midgets up front will never reach. We should have kept Angelino, at least he could cross the ball.

We’ve got awful options at LB and have for a long time.

Clichy the only one who performed consistently in the last decade and his legs then went, and he was pretty average.

Zinchenko had a poor passing game today, which is blatantly his whole game - he can never tackle.

I'm going full clench mode for 90 minutes against Real Madrid if he starts. Hopefully Cancelo plays LB. If Zidane is smart he'll put Vinicius on the right against Zinchenko in the second tie

His technical ability is not in doubt but he's a real weak link defensively and that's the only position he's ever going to play for us.

I appreciate the part he's played in our success but given that he takes up a foreign spot, I think he's potentially on his way this summer.

Ridiculous comparison. Mendy was trying to get us back in the game, zinc was hiding. Oh and neither is good enough on current form.
