He has been absolutely brilliant so far ...they were on their way to an upset win...but Japan got the equaliser in the 81st minute..2nd period extra time going to start
 
Can anyone give an accurate opinion?

Does his style and ability mirror a more well known player? can he be compared to anyone in the Prem?

I've not seen much of him but going by clips he is nothing like anything in the prem, he's like Ronaldinho ( but obviously not quite as good )

You can only compare his playing style to ronaldinho.. Very very good touch... Silky passes...in the mould of Silva...good game today for him
 
Just knew he was gonna try something outrageous with his penalty lol
 
UAE win on pens.

Omar scored when Japan missed their first kick with a cheeky flick. Certainly not short on confidence.

From what I saw of the game tracking back and tackling isn't his game, Petrov would have made a better defender.
