Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

No mate Barca fans :)

They only do the aways, cunts

I'm surprised there's that many on the cup scheme, my block I feel like the only season card holder
I suppose it’s difficult to say for certain. In my block there seems to be loads of unfamiliar faces on CL nights but then on my row we’re all regulars in all the schemes. The weird thing is I’m on relatively low points but still get into earlier criteria for away CL games (never get a sniff for PL aways), suggesting, to me, there’s a LOT of low point seasoncard holders in the CL in that 20.7k. It would be interesting to see a histogram of the points for those in the CL as opposed to overall.

How come the new Ticket Compliance Manager shown as being present in the minutes is listed as 'Mike B' ?

Is that his social media name or maybe he's some sort of ticketing compliance super hero?

Good question. The Club state that they don’t want to share his name to allow him to carry out investigations with anonymity.

The Club include Flexi Gold in this figure (I know people differ on that), but they have confirmed that there are 37,000 season ticket holders. We also have over 140,000 Cityzen members.

There are 20,700 season ticket holders on the UEFA Scheme.

More info in our latest minutes: https://www.mancity.com/meta/media/...-of-5-minutes-thursday-20th-february-2025.pdf
Do the club track how many of the 20.7k on the scheme actually went to each match?
I reckon a fair percentage of them never actually went to any of the games.

Another thing that’s changed is that when it was obvious to City that we wouldn’t fill our away end for CL aways without a very big OSC following, bigger OSC allocations we made for Blues to plan trips together and reduce the risk of empties etc. People can think that’s right or wrong. Now with the zeal to keep to “agreed” percentage splits, we aren’t selling out CL aways for the first time in yonks.

It doesn’t affect me as I just go off my points:.

Most of the people in my Block who I know, 209, go to the CL games.

I think we are at a potential tipping point after the Madrid game and our support shouldn’t be taken for granted

I know a few people in work who are coming out of the cup schemes next season. Especially the CL cup scheme. They've had enough.

I'm staying in the FA Cup scheme as the ticket prices are decent, and the matches are still mostly played at the weekends, home and away.

I'm not interested in the Carabao Cup. And after Real Madrid at home, I've had enough of the CL, the new format, and the home ends full of tourists and away fans.

The money I save will go towards my season ticket over the season.

The two tier stewarding where Madrid fans get chucked out of regular seats but can take the piss in corporate areas has underwhelmed me. I feel that I’m likely to ditch the CL scheme but the likelihood I will change my mind and renew next season.

I came off it from this season for the reason stated above and probably won't rejoin, I like to keep the domestic schemes going though as they seem more blue friendly

I look at that differently to you...

We sell out fewer European away games then previous years (probably due to increased cost of living recently). Therefore it's easier for big groups to plan and go to games, safe in the knowledge that their whole group will get tickets.

Not really anything to do with the OSC (although I appreciate some people might enjoy the social aspect of going away with their SC)... I have a lot of mates who go in big groups to these away games independently now and never used to be able to before.
