He's playing in the Spanish league now so I wouldn't worry about it. That he's already played with and knows Mangala is hopefully a positive for both of them.

Otamendi has done it in Spain though which for me was the strongest league in the world last season.

His performances against the likes of Messi and Ronaldo were very good as well.

If the club feel we need a new central defender then so be it, Otamendi is the best defender on the market at the moment.
