Our biggest ever game?

Makes you laugh when people put up moments that happened prior to actual big moments.

I read above Newcastle away was the biggest, without Newcastle there is no QPR. What a fucking daft way of looking at it. Does that mean the United game is even bigger then because without United there is no Newcastle moment, then no QPR moment? Bollocks.

Anyway Gillingham has got to be seen as the biggest game for me. Saved our club

The United 1-0 the year we won the PL, that got the ball rolling, atmosphere was the best since the Hamburg game-tense wasn't the word!

been plenty of big games that warrant a mention for different reasons.

the tide turned when we beat them in that game.
This by a country mile, the nerves and tension around this game were unreal

Without this game there wouldn't have been the Newcastle or QPR games,

The battle between us and them all season was distilled into one game... we were walking the league at one point , then Chelsea away happened , then the wheels came off , then theirs came off. Probably the best premier league season ever, and its 20th anniversary...

The game on Wednesday will be a walk in the park in comparison, we can afford to draw and still go through

The next match is always the most important. But as for whether it will go down in our history as big kinda depends on the result.

People tend to remember big wins but we've had very big games that we've lost, with Luton being the one that's etched on my memory.

This will go down as a big game if we progress...

It was some how all consuming for me, could think of nothing else, I'm usually pretty chilled before games.

The first and only time I welled up watching City was when Yaya scored the second at Newcastle. I was 100% sure we were Champions (little did I know what awaited us)

When Sergio scored that goal I think the over-riding emotion was shock

Maybe the second time will be when we win the CL

How can you say that about wardle? Bernstein said himself that we wouldn't have survived another season in there and royle said they would have had to sell players to survive. Make no bones about it we would've been fucked if we didn't beat Gillingham.

Nope, far from it. The natural order would have seen to it, with crowds at 33,000. The worse we got, the more loyal the fans became.

Wardle and Makin were always being asked to get involved at City, it was simply a question of when.

The Romanticism has been added down the years because we won the game, and where we are now.

I think the 2-1 win v Stalybridge Clarence in 1880-1881 season is pretty important - our only recorded win in the inaugural season.

Comparing the Champs League 1/4 final to other games is like comparing Bell and Silva - not "like for like".

Massive game tomorrow - let's bet "up for it"
