Jokes aside, it's not that Kolarov is a bad player, he has just ultimately shown he does not fit the high press, possession style we ideally want to play.
He'd be pretty effective as a LWB in a 5-3-2 counter attacking system.
Of course I am talking about our left hand side. A new LB is a must but Kolarov has just stated that hes not moving this summer and Clichy is likely to stay due to HG status as well as good form last season.
I had always hoped for Rodriguez but Sandro and Baba linked, im just hoping we get one of them. I think RB isn't an issue this summer unless Sagna wants to leave.
It's not a really a glaring weakness both our left backs have been solid for the last 3 or 4 years, almost improving every season imo.
if it is a glaring weakness, then its really a strength, as then we know where the opposition is most likely to try and exploit.
