outpricing and moving longterm season ticket holders

same happened a few years ago to us and thousands in the North Stand - forced out to make the whole of that end a huge family stand (which now has 100's of empty seats every game)

i think one of the reasons that the owners decided to buy City was that the fans were pretty loyal and were threr "when we were shit", but [I think] they dont really seem to care about the fans and how they are pricing out the long term fans.

it seems that i will become the pub going fan that i once laughed at :-(

Corrected your post for sake of accuracy.

So you'd go pub over level 3 as option to not being able to afford level 2?

Proper loyal fans, eh?

I'll take the level 3 one. Just putting that out there...

Been sc holders 40years Used to be in 204 until 4 years ago.
Me n my mucker move each year since reducing price by just under £200 per year and not the £299 sc - hoping more of these together when extra seats available. Trying never to pay over £500 for sc even though we can afford - cannot justify - becoming ridiculous - used to go every away now only bother with Europe away - prob stop going all together even though football is best I've ever seen.

How much do people estimate a u17 SeasonCard will be next season in every stand?

Think it's a good business move, but a bad one for a large majority of us.

Have always expected it too happen at some point, ever since the take over if im being honest. Just comes with it which many of us dislike but that's how it goes.

But you have to consider, the stadium expansion which will give more options to accommodate the exsisting s/c holders and alot more new ones (like myself hopefully), to make up for it.

I have a brilliant seat towards the back of 105, on the halfway line. We are the last row of regular punters as the 10 or so rows behind are padded corporate/hospitality.
2 years running now we have been booted and scattered all over the ground on Champions League nights because of the growth of UEFA sponsor freeloaders and parasites taking more and more seats each season.
The writing is on the wall. Sooner or later we will be priced out and the whole block will go prawn, we are under no illusions about that.
A fella on our row who runs a SC branch reckons the club's long-term plan is prawns/hospitality paying big money down the sides (ie the best seats) and 'proper' fans paying cheaper than most clubs behind the goals by way of compensation.
Still doesn't sit right with me. Sounds a bit like the football/social class version of ethnic cleansing

So pretty much like the soulless hellhole that is Wembley?

From memory daughters is around £225 in north stand so my guess would be about £300 next time
