outpricing and moving longterm season ticket holders

It won't be long before the whole of level two is 'upgraded' and season tickets are £1000 each. For your bucks you get a JD Sports bag with a City Badge on it, a David Silva keyring and a Manchester City Handbook in its own faux leather sleeve.

It has to be done. Both Liverpool and Chelsea generate more match day revenue than us despite lower attendances.

How many thousands of corporate types are queueing up to pay a minimum of £1,150 a piece for these seats?

You don't need thousands of individuals to buy, just large companies who will invite the individuals. It works in all other forms of business.

most businesses build on keeping existing customers happy and that helps to generate new business.

I would like to see the list of companies that are queueing up to buy these seats.

I understand why you say that but, with the greatest respect, you couldn't be more wrong. The game and the club should be about the fans, there are already numerous, and by all accounts, excellent corporate facilities at The Etihad, it would be nice if, for once, the club could buck the trend and put supporters first.

I agree, but I'm afraid we sold ourselves to Abu Dhabi. No such thing as a free lunch.

The truth is the ordinary supporters have been having a free lunch for the last six years, at The Sheikh's expense. He isn't looking for his money back from us but he would be a fool to keep buying that lunch. Building the corporate offering along with commercial and TV deals effectively keeps lunch cheap for the ordinary fan and means The Sheikh doesn't keep buying it.

Not really utilities, phones tv, deals are always better for new customers, existing customers get offered little incentive the companies just hope for lethargy or customer loyalty. But don't you think the club will have done some research into what corporate business is out there ? Plus deals with global companies like Nissan, Etihad will bring some corporate custom.
