Everyone had fuck all then, we lived in Collyhurst flats in ‘71 we were poor but most people grafted and nobody had fuck all to nick from their houses. I remember a mate was the first to get a colour telly in 74 for the World cup in Germany, from Radio Rentals. Yes went to Ivors in the underground market, but there was another shop in there what we used as well, cannot remember the name, can any one remember. Loved my Docs, they were very important, the good thing was you could run in them, not like the boots what everyone used to have, which were banned, as they caused a lot of damage.
