I bought couple of 60s and 70s watches about 18 months ago as I wanted something a bit different . never been big into watches but like some of the funky designs including some 70s jump hour watches . become an addiction got about 15 now. nothing that's worth any money . put new straps on some .couple of non runners I fancied having a tinker with ( no idea what I am doing though) . Think the most paid for one was £50 and that came with 3 other non runners.Buy a vintage mechanical watch, there are a available in many styles. They are distinctive and not very common and will give you your own sense of identity. Plus if/when you have children/grandkids they will get to inherit an antique that they can pass on to the next generation
