Palace - Post match thread

Yaya wo the game for us but he doesnt half slow our attacks down also he is just to slow at getting round the pitch when trying to defend think he will cost us points if we continue to play him away from home! Really pleased with our response to consieding yesterday think a few could do with a rest diniho and otamendi.

For a big, strong looking bloke, he's a fairy in most challenges. That one yesterday where he threw himself
to the floor when Zaha challenged him. It might have been a foul, but he's got to be stronger whether
he gets it or not.

At leaest he attempted a challenge more than our other fullback when he came on

It's a win, again there was some keystone cop style defending.
I hope VK recovers quickly. He needs match time. Looking at the fixture list over next month, we are going to need to keep our guys fresh, fit and hungry to play & win. We cannot afford to drop points. Victimpool & The rest are keeping it tight.

Zaba was poor defensively yesterday....let the cross for Benteke chance come in and was not close enough to Conner Wickham for the goal.......were woefully short in defence this year....surely maffeo has to get his chance.....cant be any worse.

Yaya didn't slow our attacks down at Palace.

Apparently is a red under the new rules.

What new rule would that be? There's no rule change that would cover that.

Can't blame the officials for not seeing an off the ball incident. Mad Madley 's view obscured, assistant would have needed very good peripheral vision. I didn't see it, just saw Zab go sprawling.

Yellow only under the definition of violent conduct: A player is guilty of violent conduct if he uses excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball.

So yes, puncheon gets away with it.
