I predicted in the pub that Mahrez would hit it.

I told my dog that Mahrez was going to knock it in as well. Looked at me like a twat when I gave him a knowing wink and shake of a celebratory fist

Watching it on BT winds me up. It's like we were three divisions below them at half time accrding to the commentary but we held our own apart from the set piece and had more possession and passes. THere wasn't much in it.

Even after the game it was "KDB's goal was a bit lucky" - if it had been Neymar it would have been a worldy. It was painful to listen to at times.

Just hope we don't play for the draw/0-1 in the 2nd leg.

We need to play on the front foot with controlled aggression in both our pressing and passing . If we solely try and defend our lead we will come unstuck.

An outstanding game of football for me.
PSG edged the first half in terms of chances, although we had the possession.
Second half we passed, and pressed, them to death. They just couldn't handle the extremes of our game.
Not saying it's over by ant means, but that was a statement performance

Genuinely I have him down for player of the year, He has been the most consistent and always one you would put down and the team sheet straight away.
He always showed glimpses but not enough, Now being a constant starter he has been sublime to watch.

Might pick the games he puts the extra into but what world class footballer has not done that?

Really enjoyed watching that at (outside) the pub - 4 of us were only blues yet must have been 20 others watching game who cheered when PSG scored. God how I’ve missed ramming it down cûnts’ throats when we come back to win a game, it was fucking mint.

Did they actually have any clear cut chances? They were on top and looked more dangerous but we were still well in the game.

From open play, I don't think they did.

They did look threat from corners, though.
