Football is all about opinions and in my eyes Parker is an over rated midfielder deemed better than he is because he is English. He runs about a bit maybe but is lacking any sort of quality to be good enough for a team aiming for the top 6. Hughes will love Parker as he will not give him any trouble. I was all for keeping Hughes as he could deliver players in the transfer window, but signing Parker is the easy option to give us mid table mediocrity.

I cant believe some of the crap on here.Citys biggest problem this season has been defensively.The side is unbalanced and needs to be strengthened defensively.
Parker is a premiership proven ,international defensive midfielder somewhere around his peak.He is a better player than Fernandes or the ageing Herman therefore the squad improves.Is this a site for manic depressives who have run out of prozac or alternative uppers?

if you knew anything about football you would realise that we are buying one of west hams best players atm,which the top 6 sides have done for the past few years in buying the best players around them from other teams to build a solid sqaud.
