I hope he stays and is given a chance next season, particularly as he wouldn't take up a squad place. Thought he did OK against United, and was glad that Guardiola picked him out for praise. Hopefully he'll get some game time against Madrid and Spurs.

Agreed. I'm really hoping with a stronger team now with Walker and Mendy in there among others to come and therefore no need for squad players like fernando navas and nolito on bench , we could really start to integrate 1 or 2 youth players like Roberts Foden and Diaz each week. If we don't soon we never will.

How many minutes will he play for City this season ?

He could easily play a part in virtually every home game, apart from the top 4, assuming he hadn't proven himself. Plus a part in away games against the lesser teams, plus League Cup, maybe FA cup maybe even some CL games if we get a decent group and some dead rubbers at the end.

He may get to play more if he goes on loan, but then we'll need to bring someone in, so his chances are even more limited

About 83 games then.

I think we keep him around, there is no reason he can't establish himself like Adam Johnson did whilst he was with us, he also has the potential to go on and become a starter for us.

Rotation option for the forward line, can play cup games, give us something direct and tricky off the bench. No brainer.

I think he has to stay at City.

Give him 5-6 starts, 10-15 games off the bench.

We've got excellent players who will help him perform. He'll get plenty of space as teams will be focusing our more stellar performers.

He either steps up and we have a player good enough, or he falls just short but has sufficient game time and a good enough highlights reel to sell him on for a good fee.

He's not a defender, defenders can easily look out of their depth, his reputation can only improve playing for us in such an attacking team.

you cannot introduce 1 or 2 youth players each week, remember they would be taking a world class players place and playing against world class players, the only way is the domestic cups, its a massive jump from youth team to premiership and the only 2 I can remember in the last 10 years are trippier and mee

Honestly I hope Pep gives players like Patrick, Tosin, Foden, Brahim, Sancho, etc plenty of playing time in the League Cup. It would obviously help if we weren't drawn against Championship and PL sides as usual but even then I think it'd be a great chance for those players to get minutes early in the season at the big boys level.
