Correct. The revisionism around Ake is bizarre. He's had a few competent games in 2 seasons and been injured most of the time. If we get our money back, we will have played a blinder

Seems like hes got a 55-60m€ or so release clause. 47m£. Reported like a couple of months ago by Romano.

I doubt he would like to come as a 4th choice though 5 months before the WC.

Him and Laporte are starting CBs regardless. Enrique would love to see his two cbs playing in the same team 5 moths before a world cup. And it's not really 4th choice... Ake played more than Stones last season :S
