Amazing how so many people are desperate for some type of raggish so called objectivity. Pogba's overrated/overvalued. He's not a shit player, but he's not the best thing since sliced bread and certainly won't single handedly win the rags the league. Saying that doesn't make me a bitter City fan. It makes me someone who isn't insecure about every step the rags take. Maybe he'll go on to be amazing. Maybe he won't. But I won't be losing any sleep over the signing (if they manage it). Those people who do only have themselves to look at.

Agreed. That said I do think they will win the champions league this season.

I would bet you any amount that you want that the scum will not win the league next season. Stop believing what the scum loving press tell you. This "youthful squad" you talk about? Martial is decent but not shown anything that says world class, Rashford is unproven, and are they going to get in ahead of ibra and Rooney? They are a threat, but walking the league, not having it. Will you take the bet?

My issue would be that we wouldn't get Kroos. He's ace.

Yup. I'll be totally okay with whatever happens if we get Kroos. However, if they get Pogba, they're killing 2 birds with 1 stone because it'll mean that Kroos won't come here. I just hope we can get our main targets because things seem to have slowed down recently.

I think Matuidi is the French midfielder United is targeting as their 4th signing and not Pogba.
 
I hope it atleast ends up costing them an arm and a leg. Close to 200m with agent fees and wages included.

They are after the players they want, what more do you expect from them? Laporte is the only missed target this year and it's not because we were unable to pay.
