reports for 100 million. Lmfao 100 MILLION!!!! How desperate can those rag fuckers get!!! Would be piss funny if they do spend 100 mill on him. Why would he chose them over real? rags are a complete shit team with new players no fuckers heard off, no champs league and a manger that loves himself to death. Hope the circus thats utd continues. Got to love Woodward, hes thick as pig shit.
I don't know where Pogba is going, if anywhere, but if Utd bid £100m then Real Madrid might not bother.

Is champions league not relevant for top players any more?

It was the b all and end all when we weren't in it

He will be worth it. If reports are true, were about to spend 50m on stones.

If we spent 100m wed be saying its a statement and a great thing. I hate utd too but they are doing the right thing IMO. It's like 50m on the player and 50m of PR to show they are not irrelevant.

A slap in the face for Baconchops who fucked him off!

If reports are true, Mourinho, and Barcelona tried to buy Stones too. The fees might bother accountants but as a football fan I just want to see my team successful, and great players win you trophies which more than pay back the transfer fees. I doubt Real madrid and barcelona are worried about the fees they have paid in the past.

I never want to see them sign players that will strengthen them no matter how much they pay.

These bastards are like Real and Barca. They never run out of money. They all have FFP (by design) friendly ways to pull money out of thin air when they need to.

I don't think Pogba will end up there mind you. No matter how much they offer as a transfer fee the player has the last say in where they go. I think he will end up at Madrid even if their offer is twenty mill less.

I am hoping that the reason we've pulled out is because we think he wants Spain. That would explain a lot. I don't get the budget argument when you read about the record bids City are supposed to be tabling. If you have the money, then buy the best, and Pogba is amongst the best and would improve any team.

If he is not interested in returning to English football, then Utd are wasting precious time in the transfer market. It wouldn't surprise me if Woodward has got it totally wrong again.

If united pull it off they have a core of an outstanding team. I would be very worried for two seasons until the Jose toxics kick in...

He will win them the league during his tenure even without Pogba. How it all ends is another thing altogether but he will be successful.

He's had success wherever he's been, and it'll be no different at the Rags. However, like you've said, how it ends will be interesting.

I really don't see how Pogba would choose to go back to the Rags despite how much money they are willing to throw. They have no Champions League, a weak squad, and a manager that has proven himself to be short-term success.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I once saw Pogba say it's "either Barcelona or Juventus".

He doesn't want to to back to United. It's the bottom of his list of potential destinations this summer. Unfortunately for him though he's got a money grabbing agent who's trying to bully him into taking the move. Personally I think he's going to snub them very publicly in the next couple of weeks. But you never know with Raiola.

If you're a talent in the game and a potential Ballon D'or candidate you don't go to a team that's not even playing at the highest level in Europe.

This is a complete non starter and it reeks of desperation from Raiola, he's using any club he can to leech on and help with any type of negotiation, you can't blame him though, it's his job.

Seems obvious to me that all the big clubs know we've backed off due to the money involved so his agent needs someone else to try and wring a few more million out of Real. The fact that he's using the rags is hilarious since their fans will actually buy in to it.

spot on mate, if pogba wants to be the best and prove it, he wont go to united, champions league is a must for any player wanting to be the best, especially in europe, simple as that

Just his agent trying to drum up interest from Barcelona or Real....or worst case, get a better deal with Juve.

Mino has burnt a lot of bridges at United and I don't see how a deal could be made. I don't think a supposed Ballon D'or future contender goes to a team outside the CL, regardless of their history.

And if he does, they will spend almost 100m on a player who, when you take away all the fancy flicks, will probably put up fairly mediocre numbers and struggle to dominate games on a consistent basis.

He's not the player some think. He's a good player, capable of being a very good player, but he epitomises the modern day footballer, in the sense that his reputation far eclipses his ability to actually influence football matches. And that's not just sour grapes, I've said the same thing about him for a while.

We bid £45m more for Kaka than the eventual price he left to join Real Madrid for.

The top players always call the shots as to where they want to go, not simply those offering the most.

If United were his No.1 choice, the deal would have been sorted within the blink of an eye.

Madrid won't pay the figures being touted, they don't have to, if they know they are the priority destination.
