I haven't seen anywhere how quickly Pellegrini got his previous teams up and running playing his style of football and playing it well. He might be very good at doing it quickly.

With Villarreal and Malaga (also in Universidad Catolica and Liga of Ecuador) had slow starting, due the lack of players, In River, San Lorenzo and Madrid was quicker at least into the leagues, with the last two, he also won a international title and ended second in another one (with River Plate)

So he is not taking charge of Malaga's last game then? This Sunday is their penultimate game against Deportivo, they have another the week after against Barca/

He referred to Sunday as his last home game by the look of it so not sure.

Hope so mate.

'Keep the faith'.

One player who I reckon we should go for is Oliver Torres. Quote me now and remember it. He will be the best thing in Spain in 5 years time. Mark my words. The kids and absolute gem.

Oliver Torres ? I really want to this boy. We go for him ?

I'd make it our quest to sign him. Offer £10m cash straight deal with add-ons up to £15m. I think they'd take that for a kid.

The lad will be worth quadruple that in 5 years. No doubt what so ever.

The words have been spoken.

Man City News: Manuel Pellegrini Confirms Malaga Exit

“I am not leaving because of financial ambition, but because of a sporting project that will allow me to feel fulfilled.

“On Sunday, I will take charge of my last match at the Rosaleda. Everyone has the right to follow their own path.

“I would like to thank the owners of the club for putting their trust in me.”

And on the very same day, Roberto Martinez says he will reveal his future within 24 hours.
Will he be Manuel's assistant manager? I think so.

But Pellegrini said that he is moving with all his coaching staff. I don´t think Pellegrini would demote Cousillas to be a 2nd assistant or Martinez agreeing to be the second assistant.

I took it as all the staff would leave Malaga, not necessarily follow Manuel to Manchester.

Me neither...
