Who should take penalties if Haaland is not on the pitch?

Just seen a quote from Pep yesterday. "We don't pracise penaltys, at training there is nobody there, no pressure"

I agree.
Most stupid thing he has said until he continued by saying they don't have time ..
Make the buggers stay behind and don't let them go until they score 5 out 5

Yes! Practice can only help can't it? We practice for everything in life: exams, interviews, army, fire brigade etc, you think those people will say let's not bother coz it's not a real fire/war etc?!

Considering Pep's reputation I find this bizarre. They should be practicing everyday after training

I bet heart surgeons don't bother practising before they do the real thing, after all, you can't recreate that pressure of knowing someone's life is your hands.

There is an element of truth in that. I can remember doing a penalty shootout in training for my Saturday team, I won so I got to take them when ever we first had one. Shit out and blasted it over, I've never taken one again. Shit example, but it does show you need a cool ahead rather than someone with the most ability.

Practising doesn't guarantee you will succeed and stress is always likely to significantly impair someone's performance but the more you have practised something the better you will perform when under stress compared to if you haven't practised.
