Draw today , himself fault at all. Alvarez reason no1.

In coming EPL matches its defo time for Foden on the bench , and Alvarez & Haaland combo more frequently ,no metter who have to warm the bench due to that reason

Not sure why he persists with that midfield in these types of games.
We only conceded 2 chances. One due to Rodri's mistake and the other due to Stones mistake. We were never pressure. And we produced easily 10 good chances, all of them produced by our MC(mostly KDB).

So we shouldn't give a fuck about Alvarez didn't have a single friggin break/holiday this year like other player?

We should play him constantly knowing full well it will get him burnout at the end of season?, there also a World Cup in mind and he have a very important role in National Team so don't expect he will get break in there either.

Like i said we need to be carefull managing his minute or it will risk he is getting burnout at the end of season.

Not sure why he dropped Alvarez after a brace that capped a brilliant midweek performance. Refused to make any subs despite some really poor performances, and then when he did he brought on Mahrez who has been really poor this season. Baffling

I think perfectly reasonable to not start Alvarez, given the reasons you list.

But with 20 mins to go, needing a goal, lacking energy? I'd have liked to have seen him.

Of course, only Pep and the backroom staff know his fitness level.

I think Pep already knows that the game is gone the moment that Villa scores the equalizer, the momentum is all on them and their supporter is rallying the team to fight us until a very last minute. We can't cope with that pressure especially when our team is mostly on poor form today, luckily we will able to get draw today and not conceded much more.

I wish we know more especially to be able to see player fitness status just like in FIFA games or Football Manager but unfortunately real life doesn't work like that.

I think we are missing a strong assistant manager, who is not frightened to have their say. Pep said that Lillo was always calm and offered great advice even in difficult times. Think we miss Lillo this season.
We improved massively at the back when we appointed Lillo, and I think we’ll miss him this season.
