I think that was the rumour up to him signing but when it was announced ,it was announced as a two year dealThink the second year is optional.

Your feeling is wrong.I know. But i have a feeling that the second year is optional.
Your feeling is wrong.
I disagree. It's the first time KDB and Foden have started a match and it's clear neither are fit. Thart gives you a clue to the extent of the problems. We're missing Stones, Akanje and Ake at the back, Kovacic has been out, and so on, and so on. We're struggling all over the pitch and you just cannot have that many players out, have to make continuous changes, have to play players who are not ready, are not fit and so on, and expect it to be any different whether it's for 2 matches or for 20. But for some reason hardly anybody else - on here anyway - seems to be capable of understanding that. I know it's not pretty but it is what it is.For the record I am very much Pep in, and totally agree a bad patch were coming. But calling this a totally understandable bad patch is selling the situation short. 1 win in eleven, and the type of losses and performances is a genuine crisis
He has been brilliant but if he stopped now the team is worse than when he started. If he feels he can sort it fine but like you I get the feeling he doesn't.My worry after seeing the post match comments is that Pep is about to fall on his sword…
I’d be gutted if that happened… the haters would have won (or it’d feel like it)
Yes it is. You're just not capable of understanding it.It's not "totally understandable". This is not up-and-down, it's relegation form and totally unacceptable.
I don’t think that anybody in the industry hates Pep but opposition fans certainly do… I guess I’ll just say “fuck ‘em” if the worst happensHe has been brilliant but if he stopped now the team is worse than when he started. If he feels he can sort it fine but like you I get the feeling he doesn't.
Unlike you I don't think anyone hates Pep. He's the best manager we've ever had and I've always said that when he leaves there'd be a huge drop off in performance. What I didn't expect was that the drop off would be while he's still here.
They're just entitled gloryhunters in my opinion. This lot would have been suicidal in 1998 when we went down to the third, they would never have coped. It makes me sad reading what I’m reading, after everything he has done for us. Some should show a little fucking class. It’s a terrible run but we will come out of it. Show some fucking faith in a guy that has won us things we could hardly dream of previously.
It’s a 2 year!1+1.
No he signed a straight 2 year extension!Think the second year is optional.
Sorry but it's pathetic. The team are struggling because the core of it has been ripped apart. There's no mystery to it, the only thing that's difficult to understand is why some of you can't see why the club can be in this position (with injuries and so on) and expect it not to have much of an effect on us.I am backing him until end of January as I've said earlier. Maybe he will turn it around in that time. But the rut we are in with regard to the losses may prove impossible to get out of and it can soon unravel completely. So while his reputation which is unparalleled can never be taken away from him, it can be tarnished greatly in the next 3-4 weeks depending on results . Get in 1-2 important signings or Defensive players back 100% fit and it may turn around.
It was bad before Rodri. For those saying it's 2 months of bad results....it really has been 5 months of bad performances.Sorry but it's pathetic. DESPITE everything we're STILL in the top 5. You've just got used to the way things are done these days, a manager loses half a dozen matches and he gets the sack. But if you cannot separate the way City are run from the way those clubs are run you have a problem.
No but I can read. Go back to supporting Chelsea.Maybe. I haven't seen the contract. Neither have you.
Let's talk about rationale. Let's say he doesn't turn it around by the end of January. That could mean another run of up to 8-10 losses. Are you seriously saying he should stay until the end of the season given that possible scenario? Would Pep have the support in the dressing room by that stage? Who knows?I love the way you say this as if it’s a reasonable take.
You’re not even giving the manager who won the last 4 league titles in a row (and the most successful manager in the club’s history) until the end of the season. It’s not a reasonable position.

I didn’t get that impression at all.My worry after seeing the post match comments is that Pep is about to fall on his sword…
