The board aren't going to panic and have seen the bigger picture. The only way Pep will leave is if he decides enough is enough and somehow I don't think he isn't going to renege on his current deal.

My worry after seeing the post match comments is that Pep is about to fall on his sword…

I’d be gutted if that happened… the haters would have won (or it’d feel like it)

For the record I am very much Pep in, and totally agree a bad patch were coming. But calling this a totally understandable bad patch is selling the situation short. 1 win in eleven, and the type of losses and performances is a genuine crisis
I disagree. It's the first time KDB and Foden have started a match and it's clear neither are fit. Thart gives you a clue to the extent of the problems. We're missing Stones, Akanje and Ake at the back, Kovacic has been out, and so on, and so on. We're struggling all over the pitch and you just cannot have that many players out, have to make continuous changes, have to play players who are not ready, are not fit and so on, and expect it to be any different whether it's for 2 matches or for 20. But for some reason hardly anybody else - on here anyway - seems to be capable of understanding that. I know it's not pretty but it is what it is.

He has been brilliant but if he stopped now the team is worse than when he started. If he feels he can sort it fine but like you I get the feeling he doesn't.

Unlike you I don't think anyone hates Pep. He's the best manager we've ever had and I've always said that when he leaves there'd be a huge drop off in performance. What I didn't expect was that the drop off would be while he's still here.
