His reputation is fine. Hes revolutionized football. So many coaches copy his style and his protégés are flourishing as they manage theirmown teams in his style. Treble. Domestic quad. 4 on the trott. His reputation is going nowhere and only idiots (not aiming at you) would think otherwise.

He’s certainly doing himself no favours at the moment but I would be confident we’ll be back amongst the best next seaosn.

Klopp had a year off every 3 and hes still gods gift to many.
Yeah way too soon to think he's past it, needs a few years like this, like Mourinho and Wenger.

Do you honestly think Pep tells them to play so slowly. He's always gesturing to up the tempo, they can't do it anymore, they are fucked. It's not Pep, he's proven for a decade give him the players and he'll win trophies at a rate not seen before in history playing champagne football. It's like blaming Hamilton for the Mercedes being shit.
What confuses me, is Pep has been warning of this drop for 2 seasons but we seem wholly unprepared for it. Not just the recruitment, but his playing style and selections. We have half the team injured and half who are playing are absolutely shot physically and mentally.

Kova was a done deal even before the window opened.

You are just finding excuses for Pep.

And his 1st choice Bellingham refused Pep in person.

Look at the tactic do u honestly think any bright young lads want to join this slow shit show?

No genuinely ambitious elite player will want to join City with the 115 charges still hanging over us.

Only ageing mercenaries out for a big payday, and average wannabes like Doku, Nunes, Phillips etc.

Pep has overlooked / underused the academy lads to the detriment of the club in the longer term.

Rice would have been a headless chicken in any Pep team. He wouldn't be the answer to our problems.

His other target, Bellingham, would have been Pogba Mk 2 at City. Another unsuitable player.
A guy who can run a bit and brings some phyisicality would help a lot right now.

All the players are pep players he was happy and found it easier to get rid of the older players when he first came! Seems he finds it hard to let some of the older players go or maybe he thought another year with them then rebuild! The club seemed to already acknowledged that it was mistake to wait a year it should have been summer just gone we should brought in 2/3 more players!

The club might pay the ultimate price with no champs league next season! If that happens we are lucky we got going to get 50m minimum from the club World Cup or next accounts we be making a big loss!

I'm glad he said he's not doing well, because it's refreshing to see him accept that responsibility. Injuries & recruitment aside, he definitely has the ability to get better performances from the team. He can set us up better. He can make better substitutions at better times. He can make better use of the squad. He can force a refresh of his coaching team (set pieces are a joke). His hands aren't tied. I do think he has been the biggest disappointment of this run - I expected the drop off (to some extent) of older players.

Having said that, I do believe that he is the person capable of turning it all around, he just needs to stop being so stubborn, particularly with players who are past it.

Depends if they write a release clause in to their contract.
