This really is like a repeat of Peps first season in charge

Goalkeeper - Uncertainty about Bravo
Fullback - Zabba, Clichy, Kolarov and Sagne all coming to the end
Defence - Kompany - injury prone although he had a renaissance
Midfield - Yaya at the the end and Nasri

The only difference was that we still had prime Silva, Aguero, Ferni , Sterling and a very promising Sane and Jesus by the end of the season.

The signings of Ederson, Walker, Bernardo, Silva and later Laporte transformed that team .......lets hope over the next 6 months or so we can bring similar quality back into the squad to add to Dias, Rodri, Foden and Haaland.

Good post, although I would point out that Pep actually wanted Kolarov to stay at City, but Aleks wanted to go back to Italy. He was nowhere near 'coming to an end', spending three good years at Roma, and two more at Inter.
Unlike some (too many) City fans, Pep was an admirer of Aleks Kolarov's talents.
