You are under the Bourgeois Syndrome.

This happens to Barça or Real Madrid when they lose two games.

Your aspirations now are to win everything and that's why you are feeling in crisis.

The reality is that you are second in the Premier, two points behind, and that you are into the Champions League, in a new scoring system, where even the one who is 12th in the standings today can play in the final.

There are ghosts.

He needs to figure out a way to play. It needs changing. The sooner we go back to four outright defenders, the better IMO. Our treble was founded on 4 solid defenders while the others could work their magic higher up.

Having Lewis forced into attacking positions and then not being able to recover when we lose it, it’s not working and I’d argue shouldn’t have been going on this long when it’s been a pretty evident issue all season. I’m more inclined to agree with pushing Gvardiol up because he’s a goal threat. Lewis isn’t and it just means he’s not affecting play up top and is leaving us wide open defensively at the same time. He’s fantastic. But he’s not a full back.

We’re getting turned around so quickly every time we lose the ball too. The sight of Kovacic running backwards towards his own goal is all too common. Same with Lewis.

Seems to be no definitive style to how we attack or the positions of the players. Usually we attack in a specific way which would see every player covering their own area of the pitch to prevent counters. That seems to have gone out the window.

All a bit baffling.

Luckily Pep is the best manager in the world so if anybody can figure it out, it’s him. And that stubbornness he had when he first came has gradually eroded where he will start to be more pragmatic if necessary.

Dias, Grealish, Rodri and Stones are big misses. They’re tempo-setters and help us control games. Without them it’s absolute chaos with players who haven’t got the legs to recover because they’re either ageing or too high up the pitch.

Just seen Pep reply to a question about managing Brazil;
'After 1-4, I am no longer an option for Brazil. I, no no no, I have more than ever, I feel like lifting the team, getting back to our level.'
I thought that sounded positive news for the future ahead.
Totally lifted my spirits hearing him in that defiant, fighting mood.

sam lee just said pep has been blocking transfers and pushing the club to not spend money.

Well if he is why? Is it all to do with he doesn't want a to bigger squad so it makes it harder for him to pick a team or is it he wants to eventually bring a couple more youth players through?

Yes say in the vid, he doesnt want a bigger squad to juggle. Always has, always will. McAtee, Bobb, Wright and O'Reilly all had loans knocked back so maybe.

I think he’s kept those players round because they are easier to drop and will have less demands in terms of playing time compared to a new signing
