Yes did you read it ? We completely crumbled at 0-1 he’s saying we didn’t crumble until it went to 4 ?
Hit the bar during that period when it was 2-0 and kev had provided a little bright period too. So it wasn't a complete shit show. And Pep doesn't reallly attack his players in public. He has to pick them up and motivate them somehow.

I love you pep and always will but some deluded comments coming from his presser today Pep Guardiola: “When you lose 0-4, all the comments are you miss this, miss that, miss this... But I don’t have the feeling at 0-1 we reacted really bad, or at 0-3. We had our best moments until we conceded for 0-4. The team was good...". Was he watching a different game ?

Love having Pep as a manager but he talks utter bollox much of the time. (And I should know!) Mostly trite stuff, mumbled in pidgin English. Looks like he’d rather be somewhere else - maybe the dentist’s. I stopped listening to his pressers years ago.

Give me Colin Wanker for post-match comment every time!

Sean Dyche needs a stint in the chair, to be fair since Bobby Mancs "Eeez important" we have had Peligrini who just stood there in interviews looking good and smiling :)

If you are still listening to Pep after a defeat after 8 years and expecting critical insight, that's on you not him.

One of the benefits of having the same system at all levels was that young players would be able to rise up into the first team and play. They may find the intensity and physicality challenging, but they would instinctively understand the system and patterns on the pitch, meaning their technique would help them adjust and settle. Now, however, we appear to be trying new formations and changing systems off the cuff, with little preparation. That means we have to rely on the senior players even more, as it would add another layer of difficulty to the youngsters.

His words aren't very encouraging. Granted, what he says and what he actually thinks may very well be different and often are but if he's telling the truth he doesn't seem to think there's a massive problem with the setup which is a major concern and him saying he has to play players out of position isn't encouraging either. He doesn't have to when he knows it's not working, it's his job to change things and find a different way that does work.
