LolIt is for players like ake and stones, who the latter is now apparently out for the next two games somehow.
Should players retire at 30 then?

I'm hoping he will do the impossible in this injury crisis over the next 4 weeks. That's what is going to take to keep us in the running for at least a champions league place. This is by far his hardest test even though it could be his last season with us. He's a stubborn individual though and that could be a good or bad depending on what he does. Does he give one or two academy youngsters a run in the team? Where does the impetus come from?I'd be happy if it did and I'd take it on the chin, as he's reinvented the team multiple times. But everyone agrees that we need fresh blood on the field. He's not going to reinvent us in one final season, even if he stays.
What you talking about? I’m saying the players are getting older. Nobody is saying they should retire…Lol

I give up lolWhat you talking about? I’m saying the players are getting older. Nobody is saying they should retire…
Yeh think it’s best…I give up lol
The annoying this was, he had already told us after the previous round he wasn’t going to go strong. Fans had largely accepted that we were effectively throwing this competition. I honestly couldn’t believe how strong the starting XI was at Spurs. The Spurs game was a real brainfart from Pep, he knew we couldn't afford more injuries to our starters and except Haaland he played them anyway, and lo and behold Stones, Savinho and Dias get injured and it fucks our far more important league game.
To be honest, we are that dull to watch this season that I’d rather Doku and Savinho started every game they are fit. At least it brings a bit of excitement to proceedings even if we lose a few. This pass pass pass on the edge of the box is a yawn fest.I agree, but Nunes had to play as a winger for the last 3 matches. I think it has to be Kovacic- Nunes/Grealish - Foden/KDB for the season. Bernardo and Gundo as subs, Doku as a great sub for the last 30 minutes in both wings.
Maybe he was playing mind games with Spurs lol.The annoying this was, he had already told us after the previous round he wasn’t going to go strong. Fans had largely accepted that we were effectively throwing this competition. I honestly couldn’t believe how strong the starting XI was at Spurs.

This thread isn't kneejerk at all.
Got it wrong today. He's proven he can get it right.
Did txiki tell you he wasn't signing a midfielder if not for Gundo? Making up scenarios. Txiki ans Pep are ot different entities when it comes tk signing. You are delusional if you think that way.Sure, he has an important saying, but the players he clearly wanted, Txiki couldn't get them. Guimaraes and Paqueta are certainly two players that Guardiola would love to have and Txiki fail in bringing them.
Is that Pep's fault? The midfield is Txiki's fault. Again, if it wasn't for Gundigan, Txiki would have not brought anyone for the midfield. Delusional
Walker being thrown in without training for 19 days probably the biggestWhat did he get wrong today?
If you had said Wednesday then I'd agree, but he's picked the strongest side we had available today, but the issue was he played most of them v Spurs, and today was more important than the other night
Whoever made the decision that we sit tight with this midfield is at fault. I'm yet to understand our refusal to spend this past window. Personally I think the decision to keep the purse closed was made from above both Txiki and Pep. Waiting until the Summer of 25 to make the necessary impact moves only makes sense if the club expected Pep to leave. If they anticipated him extending even for one year then big moves should have been made this past Summer in order to give Pep his best chance to remain dominant over his last 2 years. The way we are moving in terms of squad development has to be questioned irrespective of what happened over the last 14 seasons. The current squad has at minimum 6 players who will have next to zero value in terms of maintaining our level next season. That number could easily be closer to 8 or 9. Some of these could remain as squad depth/role players but we'll be needing MINIMUM 5 serious additions or you can forget remaining England's best and one of Europe's best.Whose fault is it we have an aging midfield, you say it like it has just cropt up out of nowhere. The midfield is literally what we will have all season, KDB is done.
We had 0 rumours of signing any midfielder before Gundo, it's extremely clear that we would have not signed anyone else if it wasn't for that (which came pretty late in the summer by the way). We had the chance to sign Guimaraes before end of June with his release clause. Not to mention we weren't able to get Bellingham.Did txiki tell you he wasn't signing a midfielder if not for Gundo? Paqueta? He had betting allegations. So you want to sign him with ban looming? This is what delusion looks like
