Very true and with the history we have had at this time of year in having poor runs in the last few seasons many should know better.We’ve lost 3 games in a week and you know what, none affect the season in a meaningful way.
People who criticise him the most always claim he’s a lucky manager who has had everything laid down on plate and maybe there’s a grain of truth in that but the reason he’s the best of the best is because he never stops evolving.
He’s a pretty exceptional person when you listen to him on many subjects. He’s humble, he’s razor sharp and commands the respect of anybody who follows the game who’s not a tribal bellend.
I’m looking forward to seeing him figure things out.

None of our defenders are as bad as they currently look. The system is exposing them. It's similar to 16/17 when we were caught on the break all the time even with Fernandinho being a class CDM.
We had an aging defence. They were all still capable but needed to drop deep to make up for their slowing legs.

Kompany
Those full backs especially suffered.
It's hard not to underestimate just how much Walker changed all this. His recovery speed stopped so many attempts at goal and gave the other defenders time to regroup to win the ball back.
A prime Walker would most likely have stopped 2 of the Sporting goals last night. Unfortunately, we don't have that anymore and he is now in the same category as Zaba and Kolarov.
Soriano and Txiki have a lot to answer for regarding the net spend record and lack of energy in the window from us. being comfortable vs trying to improve further. we chose the first, and now we reap the rewards...

Much more to do with players not being ready to leave last summer to make room,players like KDB, Walker, Gundogan who was brought in because we could for nothing and maybe Bernardo ,more to do with players we may be looking at not ready to move on last summer.Agree think Soriano is more interested in our accounts coming out and being of 900m Think pep is the kind a person who will just say yeah be fine with this squad! Plus, despite what we think about our confidence of being exonerated in the 115 , there will be a little doubt in the back of peoples mind out in the market of ,what if.

don't win much thoughCan see that but Chelsea got 35 players we should of at least brought in 1 quality midfielder and a striker! And if the players moan so be it you don't hear anything from Chelsea players they get on with it
