I used to work with a lad from Ellesmere Port who had a Scouse-ish accent but was a season ticket holder at United. Also went to uni with a lad from Penketh in Warrington who has a Scouse twang and was a United fan.

I lived in Chester for a while and the amount of scouse voices going mental for the rags was very very confusing !
