Spurs apparently sold tickets at £70 for the 3 group games and had a decent attendance as a result. Midweek games will always be an issue for us with added cost and work commitments, especially at late notice

They might have been the cheapest but they weren't all that price.
City also put a great package together for 3 games

Coming out saying that last night is the first thing I've disagreed with him on. Even if the wider point might have some merit.
Other than that he's been a breath of fresh air, speaks articulately and knowledgeably on all facets of the game and his passion has swept over the club like a tornado.
I've absolutely no idea how you can reach the conclusion you have. Bizarre really.

Pretty strange and naive comments from Pep, I'm not sure he knew the full story re no sales on the day, and has misjudged the local difficulties of the rearrangement. A lesson for him no doubt.

However the SS 3rd tier was not open for sales was it? As it was totally empty? Maybe that is what he is angling at. Hopefully his comments will help reduce the largely needless mass exit from 85 mins onwards though.

This is the first time he has made the comment publicly and my guess is that it wont be the last, if things remains the same. As I said, he will make it as clear as possible, he is not trying to fool anybody.

As alluded to, it's not as if it was a sell out for the Tuesday game.

So, what are we saying? Has UEFA changed their stance on City? Does racism still happen in matches & are clubs treated accordingly? Are European match officials still inept? Is UEFA going to treat City in exactly the same way as the Old Guard? UEFA is now headed by someone who is seen as being sympathetic to the Eastern bloc countries.

Nothing has changed, so why sell out our principles? I go to Champions League matches & will show UEFA the contempt they deserve.......then I get behind the team!

This isn't about uefa. It's about City, getting the place packed out and rocking. Move on
